A well breathing engine is one that can make power. Technotorque streamlines the flow of air into the intake, causing a quicker, more efficient burn in the combustion chamber. the OEM intake tee actually causes air turbulence by not managing air flow efficiently; as air is introduced into the tee, it is not split off cleanly which slows the flow. The technotorque aero splitter cleans up the flow by splitting and channeling the flow of air cleanly and smoothly, reducing the air turbulence. As a result, the engine makes as much as 8lb/ft of torque through the entire torque curve. Technotorque is designed to be a do-it-yourself modification and comes with a brand-new Porsche tee with the technotorque installed- simply remove and replace with the new unit.
